What do we learn from this paragraph?
What do we learn from paragraph…?
איזו כותרת טובה יותר: "Students at School", "Plastic Bottles", "A School Reduces Plastic Waste" או "Drinking Water"?
"The Price of One Plastic Bottle" תהיה צרה מדי אם המחיר הוא רק פרט צדדי.
"Libraries are offering more digital services to attract young readers" הוא רעיון.
The shop extended its opening hours to meet the needs of working customers.
The city added more buses to make it easier for residents to reach the hospital.
מילים כמו always, never, all, only, completely דורשות זהירות. אם הפסקה אומרת שיותר תלמידים משתמשים באפליקציה, התשובה "All students now use the app" מוסיפה טענה שלא קיימת.
מילים כמו but, however, now, recently, instead, because, therefore, as a result יכולות לסמן שהכותב עבר מרקע לנקודה העיקרית.
המשפט יכול להיות פשוט מאוד: "The paragraph is mainly about a new program that helps students borrow laptops."

לדוגמה, "school buses" הוא נושא; "The school added a new bus route because many pupils arrived late" הוא רעיון מרכזי.
British Council – Reading for Gist ו־Matching Headings.
Council of Europe – CEFR Companion Volume.
Education Endowment Foundation – Reading Comprehension Strategies.
