בהמשך מחכות לכם 400 שאלות ותשובות מקוריות על All My Sons Act 1.
פתאום השאלה אינה "Why does Kate believe Larry is alive?" אלא "How does Kate's behavior in Act 1 reveal an inner conflict?"
What changed? What did I learn about a character? Why might Miller want me to notice this now?
תלמידים מחפשים לעיתים "All My Sons Act 1 scene by scene", אבל יש כאן נקודה שכדאי להבין: לצורך הלמידה נוח לחלק את Act 1 ל"סצנות", אולם האקט עצמו אינו בנוי בהכרח כמערכת רשמית של Scene 1, Scene 2, Scene 3 כפי שמכירים ממחזות אחרים.
What are we not supposed to know yet?"
Larry |
The broken tree disturbs the peaceful appearance of the Keller home and immediately connects the present to Larry's absence.
לכן תלמיד צריך לשאול לא רק "What game do Joe and Bert play?" אלא "Why might the jail game be uncomfortable in this family?"
The jail game sounds innocent, but it becomes uncomfortable because prison and guilt are connected to the family's past.
או "What does this suggest?"
קל לכתוב "Kate is in denial because she believes Larry is alive."
מבחינת אנגלית, הסצנות האלה מאפשרות ללמוד אוצר מילים שבאמת שימושי לבגרות: accept, deny, insist, suggest, reveal, cope with, move on, conflict, grief, expectation, loyalty, relationship.
What the character may actually fear.
כאשר דמויות מתווכחות אם אדם הוא murderer, mistake-maker, businessman under pressure או victim of circumstances, הן אינן מתווכחות רק על מילה.
הטעות הנפוצה בתשובות היא להפוך אותן למשפט מוסרי כללי כמו "People must always be responsible." Chris sees the shipment as a moral crime because innocent pilots died as a result of the decision.
התלמיד צריך להשתמש בביטויים כמו from Joe's point of view, however, Chris believes, this suggests, the consequence was.
Why are their perspectives different?
"Chris survived the war" אינו עדיין ניתוח.
Their anxiety suggests that George's visit may threaten the version of the past that has allowed the family to live normally.
המטרה היא לאמן את עצמכם לזהות clues ולנמק: I predict that… because….
| Kate cannot accept Larry's death. |
| She searches for signs that he may still be alive. |
| This shows that accepting his death is emotionally unbearable for her. |
| By inferring from her behavior, we understand her fear of facing the truth. |
אלה מילים שמאפשרות לעבור מ־"what happened" ל־"what it means".
She is unable to accept… או Her reaction suggests that….
בשלב הבא מוסיפים connector כגון therefore, however, because of this.
400 שאלות ותשובות All My Sons Act 1 – תרגול סצנה סצנה
תלמיד שמסביר why Joe reacts differently from Chris מתרגל grammar, connectors, vocabulary ו־fluency בו זמנית.

לדוגמה, אחרי "What happened to Larry's tree?" שאלו "Why might Miller begin the play with a broken memorial?" אחרי "Who is George?" שאלו "Why does the announcement of George's arrival change the mood?"
George is going to do
תלמיד שלמד לומר From Chris's perspective… יכול בהמשך לומר בפגישה From my perspective…. תלמיד שלמד This decision led to…
שאלות נפוצות על All My Sons Act 1, שאלון F והכנה לבגרות
All My Sons?
All My Sons?
ב־Module F מיומנויות כמו inferring, comparing and contrasting, explaining cause and effect, uncovering motives, distinguishing perspectives ו־explaining patterns מאפשרות להפוך ידע עובדתי לניתוח.
אחר כך שאלו "What does it reveal?", "Why?", "How is this different?" או "What can we infer?"
All My Sons?
Kate's reaction suggests… This can be seen when… Therefore…
Kate is afraid to accept that Larry may not return. Kate's behavior suggests that accepting Larry's death is emotionally unbearable for her.
This suggests that, As a result, From his perspective, This reveals, In contrast, We can infer that.
Kate מול Ann טוב לנושא moving on.
בדקו אם אתם משתמשים יותר ב־because, however, whereas, as a result, suggests ו־reveals; אם הטענות נהיות ממוקדות יותר; ואם אתם זקוקים לפחות זמן כדי להתחיל.
