הבוחן שואל שאלה שנשמעת כמעט פשוטה מדי: “Do you work or are you a student?”, “What do you like about your hometown?” או “What do you usually do at weekends?”.

IELTS Speaking Part 1.

IELTS Speaking Part 1?

נבחן מקבל שאלה כמו “Do you like cooking?”

אם נשאלתם “Do you enjoy reading?” I mostly read non-fiction because I enjoy learning about business and technology.”

ברוב המקרים מספיק להתחיל בתשובה ברורה: “Yes, I do”, “Not really”, “I usually…”, “I’d probably say…”.

לדוגמה, השאלה “Do you enjoy mornings?” יכולה לקבל תשובה חלשה: “Yes, I like mornings.” תשובה מפותחת יותר תהיה: “Yes, I do. I’m usually more focused in the morning, so I try to do important work before lunchtime.”

המטרה היא לפתח כמה דרכים לפתיחה: “Most of the time…”, “It depends…”, “To be honest…”, “I used to…, but now…”, “I wouldn’t say that…”

I rarely watch television because most of my free time goes on podcasts and YouTube.”

אם שכחתם את המילה “kettle”, למשל, אפשר לומר “the thing we use to boil water”.

IELTS Speaking Part 1

שימו לב שבחלק מהתשובות מופיעים זמנים שונים: Past Simple לחוויה שהסתיימה, Present Perfect לשינוי לאורך זמן, “used to” להרגל מן העבר, ו-“would like to” לתוכניות והעדפות עתידיות.

לדוגמה, אם ראיתם את המשפט “I’m more open to different styles now than I was when I was younger”, אל תשננו אותו דווקא בנושא מוזיקה. מחר אפשר לומר: “I’m more organised now than I was when I was younger” או “I’m more confident speaking English now than I was last year.”

במקום ללמוד “decision” בנפרד, למדו make a decision, difficult decision, final decision. במקום “attention”, למדו pay attention, require attention, attention to detail.

שאלות כמו “What do you normally do?” Present Simple. “Has your hometown changed?” “What did you do last weekend?” “What would you like to learn?”

לדוגמה: “I usually study at home because it’s quieter. If I have a difficult topic, though, I sometimes meet a teacher online so I can ask questions immediately.”

בסיבוב השני יש משימה דקדוקית קטנה: בתשובה אחת להשתמש ב-used to, באחרת ב-Present Perfect, באחרת ב-comparative ובאחרת ב-first conditional.

“Most of the time”, “one of the reasons is”, “when I was younger”, “it depends on the situation”, “I’m not particularly interested in…”.

אחרי “Do you enjoy cooking?” הוא יכול לשאול “Who usually cooks in your family?” או “Has your cooking changed in recent years?”.

IELTS Speaking Part 1

“Yes”, “No”, “Sometimes” ו-“I like it” אינם מאפשרים לכם להציג מספיק שפה.

אם אמרתם “He go” ומיד תיקנתם ל-“He goes”, אפשר להמשיך.

האם כל תשובה עדיין בנויה מ-“I like… because it is good”? או שכבר נכנסים ביטויים כמו “I used to…”, “It depends on…”, “One of the main reasons…”, “I’d rather…” ו-“Compared with…”.

IELTS Speaking Part 1

IELTS Speaking Part 1?

לדוגמה: “I’ve never really thought about it, but…”

מילות שאלה כמו why, how often ו-when משנות את סוג התשובה.

1. IELTS – Speaking Test Format

2. IELTS – Speaking Band Descriptors

3. British Council – IELTS Practice Speaking Test Part 1

4. British Council – Speaking Lesson Plans
