I support this idea because it can save students time. For example, they can use the extra time to study or rest.

One of the main reasons is that…

I believe that [idea] can be beneficial because [reason]. לאחר התאמה: I believe that volunteering can be beneficial because it teaches students to care about other people. עכשיו מוסיפים דוגמה: For instance, helping elderly people can teach teenagers responsibility and patience.

למשל, מתחילים ב־This can help people…, ואז מתרגלים This may allow students…, As a result, teenagers can… ו־For this reason, I believe….

From my point of view מרגיש לכם מלאכותי, אין צורך להשתמש בו. אפשר לבחור I believe that או In my opinion.

  1. Q: Should students read every day?
Possible answer: Yes. Daily reading can improve vocabulary and help students understand longer texts more easily.
  2. Q: Is homework useful?
Possible answer: Homework can be useful when it gives students a chance to practise what they learned in class.
  3. Q: Should schools start later in the morning?
Possible answer: I think they should because tired students may find it difficult to concentrate early in the day.
  4. Q: Is studying with a friend a good idea?
Possible answer: It can be helpful because friends can explain ideas to each other and make practice less stressful.
  5. Q: Should students use phones during lessons?
Possible answer: In most lessons, phones should be put away unless the teacher wants to use them for learning.
  6. Q: What is the best way to learn new words?
Possible answer: I prefer learning words inside sentences because the context helps me remember how to use them.
  7. Q: Should every student learn English?
Possible answer: Yes, because English can help people study, travel, work and communicate with people from other countries.
  8. Q: Is it better to study a little every day?
Possible answer: Yes. Short, regular practice is easier to maintain than studying many hours only before a test.
  9. Q: Should schools give fewer tests?
Possible answer: I think schools should use different kinds of assessment because one test does not always show everything a student knows.
  10. Q: What makes a good teacher?
Possible answer: A good teacher explains clearly, listens to students and changes the lesson when someone needs extra help.
  11. Q: Is making mistakes useful when learning English?
Possible answer: Yes. Mistakes show learners what they need to practise and can lead to better understanding.
  12. Q: Should students learn how to give presentations?
Possible answer: Yes, because presentation skills can help them at school, university and later at work.
  13. Q: Is group work always effective?
Possible answer: No. Group work can be useful, but some students participate less when the group is too large.
  14. Q: Should students choose some of their school subjects?
Possible answer: I think they should have some choice because personal interest can increase motivation.
  15. Q: What should a student do before an exam?
Possible answer: A student should review important material, practise typical questions and get enough sleep.
  16. Q: Is memorizing enough to learn a language?
Possible answer: No. Learners also need to use the language in speaking, reading, listening and writing.
  17. Q: Should English lessons include games?
Possible answer: Yes, when the game has a clear learning purpose and encourages students to use English.
  18. Q: Is it useful to watch videos in English?
Possible answer: Yes. Videos expose learners to natural pronunciation, useful expressions and different speaking styles.
  19. Q: Should students correct their own writing?
Possible answer: Yes. Self-correction can help students notice repeated mistakes and become more independent.
  20. Q: What is more important, grammar or vocabulary?
Possible answer: Both are important because vocabulary gives us ideas to express and grammar helps us organize them.
  21. Q: Is a quiet place important for studying?
Possible answer: For many students it is, because fewer distractions can make concentration easier.
  22. Q: Should students ask questions in class?
Possible answer: Yes. Asking questions helps students clarify confusing points before the gaps become larger.
  23. Q: Can music help students study?
Possible answer: It depends on the student. Some concentrate better with quiet music, while others need silence.
  24. Q: Should schools teach time management?
Possible answer: Yes, because planning schoolwork can reduce stress and help students meet deadlines.
  25. Q: Is handwriting still important?
Possible answer: Yes, although we use computers often, students still need to write clearly in many situations.
  26. Q: Should students have longer breaks?
Possible answer: Short breaks can improve concentration, but very long breaks may make it harder to return to learning.
  27. Q: What can students do when they do not understand a text?
Possible answer: They can read the question first, look for key words and try to understand the main idea before every detail.
  28. Q: Should students learn from their corrected tests?
Possible answer: Definitely. A corrected test is useful because it shows which mistakes need more practice.
  29. Q: Is private tutoring useful for every student?
Possible answer: It can be especially useful when a student needs focused practice that is difficult to receive in a large class.
  30. Q: What can make English lessons less stressful?
Possible answer: Clear explanations, manageable tasks and enough time to practise can make learners feel more comfortable.
  31. Q: Should students speak English even if they make mistakes?
Possible answer: Yes, because speaking improves through use, not only through studying rules.
  32. Q: Is it helpful to keep a vocabulary notebook?
Possible answer: Yes, especially if students write an example sentence and review the words regularly.
  33. Q: Should students study during school holidays?
Possible answer: A small amount of practice can be useful, but students also need time to rest.
  34. Q: What should a student do after receiving a low grade?
Possible answer: The student should identify the main problems, ask for help and make a realistic practice plan.
  35. Q: Can online lessons be effective?
Possible answer: Yes, especially when the lesson is interactive and the student has many opportunities to participate.
  36. Q: Is reading aloud useful?
Possible answer: It can help learners practise pronunciation and notice where sentences naturally pause.
  37. Q: Should students learn complete phrases, not only single words?
Possible answer: Yes. Phrases make it easier to build natural sentences and remember how words work together.
  38. Q: Why do some students understand English but struggle to answer?
Possible answer: Understanding is receptive, while answering requires quick retrieval and active sentence building.
  39. Q: Is confidence part of language learning?
Possible answer: Yes. A learner who is willing to try usually gets more opportunities to practise and improve.
  40. Q: What is one good goal for an English learner?
Possible answer: A useful goal is to express one idea clearly without translating every word from Hebrew.

שאלות 41–80: טכנולוגיה, טלפונים ורשתות חברתיות

  1. Q: Does technology make learning easier?
Possible answer: It can, because students can quickly access videos, dictionaries and practice materials.
  2. Q: Should teenagers limit their screen time?
Possible answer: Yes. Too much screen time can take time away from sleep, exercise and face-to-face communication.
  3. Q: Are social networks useful?
Possible answer: They can be useful for communication, but users should think carefully about what they share.
  4. Q: Should children have smartphones?
Possible answer: It depends on their age and needs, and parents should set clear rules for safe use.
  5. Q: Can artificial intelligence help students learn?
Possible answer: Yes, if students use it to practise and understand ideas rather than simply copy answers.

I think volunteering is important because it helps people יכול להיות התחלה טובה. הוא ברור, יש בו עמדה וסיבה, ואפשר לעבוד ממנו על דיוק. במקום לדרוש מיד מבנה מסובך, עדיף להוסיף משפט שני: For example, students can help younger children with homework. עכשיו כבר יש רעיון מפותח יותר.

ברמה בינונית אפשר לקחת את אותו נושא וליצור פסקה מחוברת: I believe volunteering should be encouraged at school because it teaches students responsibility. For example, when teenagers help younger pupils, they learn to prepare, listen and explain patiently. As a result, volunteering can benefit both sides. השפה עדיין נגישה, אבל היחסים בין המשפטים ברורים יותר.

ברמה מתקדמת יותר, התלמיד יכול להציג הסתייגות: Although compulsory volunteering may reduce students' sense of choice, schools can still encourage meaningful participation by offering several types of community work. כאן לא מדובר רק ב”מילה גבוהה”; המשפט מציג מורכבות רעיונית. זה בדיוק ההבדל שכדאי לחפש כאשר מתקדמים — לא קישוט, אלא יכולת לומר משהו מדויק יותר.

שלב מה לתרגל דוגמה
בסיס משפט נכון + סיבה פשוטה I prefer studying at home because it is quiet.
ביניים עמדה + הסבר + דוגמה + קישור I prefer studying at home because I can concentrate. For example, I can turn off my phone and work without interruptions.
מתקדם פיתוח, ניגוד, הסתייגות ומשלב Although studying at home offers fewer opportunities for social interaction, it may be more effective for tasks that require sustained concentration.

What will you do next weekend? What will schools be like in the future? What will you do after the exam? כך המבנה מתחבר למשמעות.

גם כאן תבניות מסייעות. המשפט If I have enough time, I will… נותן לתלמיד מסגרת לתנאי בסיסי. When I was younger, I used to… יוצר כניסה טבעית לסיפור עבר. People who…

אם אתם כותבים שוב ושוב people is, רשמו people are ושלושה משפטים אישיים. אם אתם שוכחים to אחרי want, כתבו I want to improve / I want to travel / I want to study.

Should teenagers work during the school year?.

I believe that school trips are useful because…, אחר כך I believe that sport is useful because….

One reason is…, This is important because…, As a result…, For example….

הטעות השלישית היא להעתיק ביטוי בלי להבין את הדקדוק שבתוכו. למשל, תלמיד זוכר One of the reasons is… ואז כותב אחריו מבנה שאינו מתאים. לכן כל תבנית חדשה צריכה להגיע עם שניים או שלושה משפטים משלכם. ברגע שאתם יכולים להחליף את הנושא ועדיין לשמור על מבנה נכון, אתם באמת יודעים אותה.

הטעות הרביעית היא לכתוב תשובה שנשמעת כללית מדי. Technology is very important because it helps people in many ways. זה משפט תקין, אבל כמעט אין בו מידע. אפשר לשפר אותו בלי מילה “גבוהה” אחת: Technology can help students study from home, find information quickly and communicate with teachers.

Could you explain that again?,

One of the main reasons is that…

כך במקום להיתקע עם because בלבד, תכירו גם One reason is that ו־This is important because.

One benefit of exercise is…, Students can benefit from…, This program could benefit….

Writing Rubrics

מחווני הכתיבה מציגים את התחומים שעל פיהם נבחנת הכתיבה, ובהם תוכן וארגון, אוצר מילים, שימוש בשפה ומכניקה, עם דרישות שונות בהתאם לשאלון. זה מקור חשוב משום שהוא מסביר מדוע תשובה רלוונטית, מפותחת ומדויקת חשובה יותר מאוסף של מילים “גבוהות”.

Council of Europe – CEFR Companion Volume

ה־CEFR הוא מסגרת בינלאומית מוכרת לתיאור יכולת בשפות. בחלק העוסק בהפקה בכתב הוא מציג מעבר הדרגתי ממשפטים וביטויים פשוטים אל טקסטים מחוברים, מפותחים ומאורגנים. המסמך מתייחס גם לתכנון, ניטור ותיקון כחלק מתהליך ההפקה, רעיונות שעומדים מאחורי שיטת התרגול במדריך.

Cambridge English –
